A New Beginning

He who was seated on the on the throne said, “I am making everything new!”

Everybody needs a new beginning. After Jonah failed and ran from the call of God, we read; The word of the Lord came to Jonah a second time. He is the God of second, and third chances. When David failed so badly, he discovered there was a fountain open to the house of David for sin and uncleanness – Zechariah 13:1.

The good news is you can start again! You can close down the door on last year with all it’s pain and failure. Paul says forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching for those things before us in Phil. 3:13. If your making resolutions, start small. Don’t set yourself up for failure by saying I’ll pray for two hours everyday. Staying fit spiritually is done by making things a daily habit and way of life.

What we need is a new relationship with God. So lets make that our number one resolution.
