Weekly Word: April 8, 2019

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart: and lean not unto thine own understanding ~ Proverbs 3:5

Have you discovered how different your valves are from God’s? We’ll work our fingers to the bone for money, but won’t set aside thirty minutes for wisdom. We work hard for comfort, yet God is more interested in our character. Education is not wisdom. We can memorize facts, pass tests, earn degrees, yet not have wisdom.

So what’s the secret? The word says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding.” He didn’t say don’t use it, He said, don’t lean on it. After you’ve read, researched, consulted others, and done all you know, come back to one unchanging fact; Jesus Christ is your source, your strength, your guide, your deliverer. He is our all in all! Listen to Proverbs 3:6 “In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path.”

Trust Him now with all your heart & He will help you!
