Overcoming Doubt

Life happens, our circumstances often cause us to question what we believe, creating doubt in our hearts about everything we thought was true. It happens to all of us.

But the most important thing is how we respond when doubt arises. Here are four truths to lean into when it happens to you.

By Faith Believe God is Real.
1. God is Real. The apostle Paul answers this question in Romans 1:20 for since the reaction of the world Go’s invisible qualities- his eternal power and divine nature- have been clearly seen, being understood from what he has made, so people are without excuse.

By Faith, I Choose to Believe God Loves Me.
2. God loves me. When i had nowhere else to turn, I set aside my doubts, my pride, my ego,, everything I prayed “God I need you”, I need your forgiveness, I want to know you love me.

By Faith, I Choose to Trust God.
3. God can be trusted. Because I know he loves me, I can trust him with every outcome. Who ever comes, I can relax, knowing it came thru his hand. Did he make it happen? Did he let it happen? I don’t know, I simply know he loves me.

By Faith I Choose to Believe in Eternal Life.
4.There is a Life after this one. Jesus proved this with his death, burial, resurrection, and ascension. I don’t know where, I don’t know what it will be like, but I know that justice will ultimately be done, and that I’ll be where Jesus is because I believed in him and followed him.

The Challenge: The opposite of faith is fear, uncertainty and doubt. Choose Faith!

Hebrews 11:6 – But without faith it is impossible to please him, for he who comes to God must believe he is, and that he rewards of those who diligently seek him.
