Luke 18:1 Men ought always to pray & not faint

The devil will do anything to keep you from praying. You’ll get too tired, too busy, too depressed, it’s endless. There’s a reason he distracts us from prayer! In prayer we get real. When I am alone with God, the pretense is gone, for He knows my heart. There I repent of attitudes and actions that don’t seem to bother me at other times. As a result, prayer keeps us honest.

In prayer God speaks to us, no it’s not an audible voice, but it is unmistakable when His voice speaks to the depths of our hearts. Sometimes, all I hear is a word, but I know it’s Him. In prayer He teaches us to be thankful read Philippians 4:6. Take some time out and get alone with God in prayer – you’ll be glad you did!
