Weekly Word: May 1st

Week of May 1st,

~ 2 Corinthians 2:11 in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of His schemes.

God has a plan for your life and when you walk in it, you’ll have peace, joy, and real fulfillment. Satan has a plan for our lives, and he counts heavily on one thing; our ignorance. If he can keep you in the dark, then he can play havoc with your life. His scheme is to keep you spiritually dull so that you can’t discern the need in other people’s lives. He wants to keep you spiritually weak so you can’t respond. He wants to keep you living in condemnation so that you feel unfit and unworthy to minister to others. So as a result those who could hear through you will be lost. In other words Satan’s goal is not just you, but also those you could help!

Once you know this, you have destroyed his advantage. Take the weapon out of his hand according to Luke chapter 10. Today power is found in God’s word, in prayer, and in His presence. As you walk in obedience you’ll discover you have the power to defeat Satan on every front and do the job God has called you to do!
