Matthew 27:46 God why have you forsaken me ~
At Calvary Jesus asks one of the most heart wrenching questions ever recorded, “God why have you forsaken me?” These words are also found in Psalms 22:1-3. The bible says that at Calvary God made Jesus “who knew no sin” to be sin, so that we might be the righteousness of God in Him. At that moment Jesus felt like God had forsaken Him. Overwhelmed and abandoned, only you know when you have felt this way. No other living soul has a satisfactory answer of why for you. The question must be directed to the Lord and to Him alone! Only God your Father can pour His healing on your breaking heart. In addition to asking the Lord for help, you must be willing to accept His answer. Romans 8:28 assures us God can work everything out in our lives for good – we just have to trust Him!
